Slepping better

Further to my comments last month about Imogen still not sleeping better, I can happily say that things have improved vastly since then.

Finally, she now regularly sleeps through the night without waking, which is great!

Whether her skin itches less now (it does seem to be getting better all the time), or the weather has made things better (it's a lot cooler at night in general now, rather than the very hot nights we had earlier in the summer), or it's a combination of things, I just don't know. But it's nice.

So, let's just hope it lasts. It was fine in Jersey on holiday last week ( Nord Cottage, just outside Rozel Bay - lovely place), which surprised us, but we're moving house next week (Thursday 28th) so that disruption to routine might mess things up again I suppose.

On a different note, her counting is improving as well. She often sits and counts objects, normally going up to eleven (quite why, I don't know, I guess she doesn't know it's conventional to learn to count to ten first!). If someone is with her and goes through the objects with her, she can count to twenty, but sometimes misses out 15 and 17 (she used to miss out 5 and 7 sometimes when couting to 10). At night, before she's fallen asleep, we can often hear her counting the bars on her cot (over the baby monitor we still have in her room).
